The GES PTA would like to thank each of you for an amazing school year so far! We have already had such a successful start to this school year. The PTA has raised over $10,000 for GES kids, through Membership, Family Fun Night and donations from the Tis the Season Bazaar and others. We had the opportunity to honor our Veterans for their service and sacrifice, by providing them lunch and a program. We also love each time during the month that we get to serve our wonderful staff with a small treat, just to tell them, “Thanks!” We are truly blessed at GES with administrators, teachers, and staff that want the best for our kids, our families and this community. We hope the past few months have been just a taste of the great things to come at Gibbs in 2012!
 We are beginning to look forward to our Family “Souper” Bowl Festivities. This will be a time at the end of January that you will be able to come to the school and warm up for the winter with your kids. Look for ticket sales to start soon!

These are items that the Teacher would have to pay for out of their own pockets. Every item that is sent in is GREATLY appreciated. Let's not forget about the ENCORE Teachers!

What's On Your Roadmap???? Dear Parents:
Welcome back to a brand new school year! I hope each of you have had a fantastic summer. I am looking forward to having a very productive and rewarding year at Gibbs Elementary School. If you are new to GES, I encourage you to get involved in the PTA and help support our school. For returning parents, please consider either beginning or renewing your commitment to support the PTA this year. Our PTA Membership Goal is 100% parent participation. Your PTA membership dues of only $7 support various PTA sponsored programs: school clinic, teacher appreciation, technology upgrades, playground additions, and many more. We need your involvement to help achieve our goals and to help ensure the success of the Gibbs PTA. The PTA theme for this school year is, “Life is a Highway….What’s on your road map?” I hope that you will add these stops to your road map this year…
